With the Cowboys and Dolphins kicking off the season yesterday we are on our way. It’s time to get in and get those Rookies and Pro Bowler cards! Here is what is already ready to be purchased at Steve’s Sports Cards right now:
2013 Prestige Football has a total of eight variations. Each has a different image. All base versions have the players in their new uniforms, complete with the proper numbers. Variations come in one of two styles. The most obvious ones picture the rookies at the draft wearing their formal clothes and a team hat. Most are holding up their new jerseys as well. The second variation version has players in their uniforms, but with the generic ’00’ numbering. Besides basic versions of the 2013 Prestige Football variation short prints, there are also rare autographed versions. These are numbered to 25.
2013 Elite Football-Comfort and evolution — those two words don’t always go well together. But that’s an overlying theme of 2013 Elite Football, a release that mixes several of the long-standing brand’s familiar elements with some new wrinkles. The result is a set that stays true to the brand while, at the same time, changing.
Twenty-pack boxes deliver a total of four hits including at least two autographs. The other two are either additional signatures or memorabilia cards. Collectors can also expect a decent amount of inserts.
Among the new concepts are First & Goal memorabilia cards. The unique cards have the jersey swatch mounted on a piece that rotates. Positioned on top of a down marker, the front shows a fourth down. The reverse has the jersey piece. Collectors can then spin the swatch around and display it whichever way they prefer.
2013 Topps Inception Football Cards-Every box contains Two Autograph or Relic Cards and One Jumbo Jersey or Patch Relic Card! Every Base Rookie Autograph Card is Signed Directly on-card!
2013 Topps Inception delivers the first high-end NFL trading cards of the season! With all-new, beautifully updated designs, Inception captures all of the excitement and anticipation surrounding the 2013 NFL Rookie class.
Each box also contains 2 Veteran Base Cards and 2 Veteran Base Card Parallels!
Key Rookies: Gino Smith, Matt Barkley, Mike Glennon, Ryan Nassib, Eddie Lacy, Cordarrelle Patterson, Montee Ball, Marcus Lattimore, Landry Jones, and more!
2013 Panini Momentum Football Cards- For autograph and memorabilia fans, 2013 Panini Momentum Football delivers the goods with a hit in every pack. Spread across a box, that means ten total high-end cards.
RPS Rookies, which cover the most high-profile first-year players, come with an autograph and three player-worn memorabilia pieces. Numbered to 399 or less, the cards use foil board. Prime parallels have patches and premium memorabilia pieces. NFL Shield versions come with a completely different look. First-year standouts are also featured in Rookie Team Threads, which center on memorabilia. Besides basic versions, there are Prime and autographed parallels.
Class Reunion autographs look back at past draft classes. The have signatures from two, three or four players who entered the league during the same year. Double Feature and Triple Feature cards take a multi-player approach to memorabilia cards. Studs return with a piece of an actual diamond embedded in the card. The inserts use intense black and white photos.
The 2013 Panini Momentum Football base set uses a design that focuses on the featured player. An isolated shot is placed inside the shield-like Momentum logo. Beside the ten promised hits, every 2013 Panini Momentum Football box promises ten rookie cards and one parallel.
Steve’s Sports Cards is located on 31w and is hidden a bit from the eye. If you look hard enough you will see this gem sitting off the road and just inviting you in. Steve’s Sports Cards is a great place because it has so much to offer the sports collector but, the fact they carry political collectibles is another feather in their cap. The longest running Sports card shop in the state, it’s a must see in Bowling Green.
